Have arrived safely at Airport Game Lodge, Johannesburg.
We were hoping to tour Sweto tomorrow, but our plans have
had to be shelved. We will have a relaxing day at the Lodge
with a BBQ for lunch instead.
05 August 08 ~ 19.16hrs
The adventurers are headed home! Flight (SA234) took off
from Johannesburg airport at 20.02hrs (local time)
slightly later than anticipated - take off having been delayed
by 17 minutes.
They are currently still scheduled to land at Heathrow
at 06.25hrs tomorrow morning.
06 August 08 ~ 06.37hrs
They're back! Flight SA234 landed (bang on schedule)
at Heathrow Terminal 1 at 06.25hrs this morning.
06 August 08 ~ 07.30hrs
They are just waiting for the last
few bags to come through on the luggage carousel.
For my part, my work is almost done. Over the coming months
I will, however, be adding some photo galleries which will
hopefully give visitors to this website a flavour of what
the students saw and experienced while they were away.
May I also take this opportunity to extend my own good
luck wishes to the students. I will be keeping my fingers
crossed that all their hard work has paid off and everyone
gets the examination results they are expecting.
